Roller Hearth Kiln is a conveyor type kiln. The kiln enables processing of material from one end to the other including the inspection, packing to be in one continuous cycle. This continuous kiln is the most energy efficient, because heat given off during the cooling cycle is recycled to pre-heat the incoming material to be fired..
Ceramic Rollers used in roller hearth kiln need to satisfy specific criteria such as excellent thermal shock resistance, high alumina content and good B.D. The straightness tolerances are very strictly maintained to ensure that the rollers are straight. If you are installing our rollers for entire kiln, we ensure that our technical service personnel come to train your personnel on how to load the rollers.
Futura Ceramics manufactures High Temperature Ceramic rollers. We manufacture OD 25mm to OD 65mm – length 1500mm to length 4600mm – all the different types of rollers. These are also called CERAMIC PIPES or CERAMIC TUBES.
The applications of the rollers are as follows:
Tile Industry: The conveyor type Roller Hearth Kiln (RHK) runs with Ceramic Rollers that rotate around themselves and transport tiles from one of the kiln to the other end. Rollers are very important for any tile plant. We supply rollers suitable for all the zones in the RHK, including in the cooling zone for pumping cold air, heating zone etc.
SS Patta Manufacturers: There are many SS Patta manufacturers who utilise the ceramic rollers for the stainless steel (SS) re-rolling purpose.
Lab Kilns: These alumina tubes can be used to support the kanthol element in the kilns, these tubes will not sag or bend, so element life will be more.
Hot air areas: These tubes cab used at very high temperature, hot air or fumes can be sent through these pipes, they will not get bend like metals pipes.
